Exercise Judicious Response and Epic Guardian 2019 begins

At the invitation of the Governments of the Kingdom of Morocco, the United Kingdom and the United States, U.S. Africa Command and subordinate service components will conduct joint exercise Judicious Response and Epic Guardian 19 in and around Agadir, Morocco, beginning April 29.

At the invitation of the Governments of the Kingdom of Morocco, the United Kingdom and the United States, U.S. Africa Command and subordinate service components will conduct joint exercise Judicious Response and Epic Guardian 19 in and around Agadir, Morocco, beginning April 29.  

Military personnel from the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces and the United Kingdom’s Ministry of Defence will participate alongside U.S. personnel. Exercises Judicious Response and Epic Guardian have previously been held as two separate, annual exercises that promote cooperation and understanding between our regional allies and partner nations.

Previous iterations of Epic Guardian were held in Ghana, Malawi, Cameroon, Djibouti, Cabo Verde, Burkina Faso, and the Seychelles. This is the second iteration of Judicious Response  to be held on the African continent. All prior iterations were Command Post Exercises held in Stuttgart, Germany, the location of U.S. Africa Command headquarters.
