Mission
The office of public affairs and communication synchronization helps strengthen national and international understanding of and confidence in U.S. Africa Command's mission; enhances the command's readiness and its ability to conduct programs and missions designed to promote a stable and secure African environment in support of U.S. policy; and fulfills the command's obligation to keep service members, the American people and the international community informed of its activities.
