J1 - Manpower and Personnel
Mission
The U.S. Africa Command Manpower and Personnel directorate provides the combatant command manpower and personnel support by synchronizing personnel support efforts to the joint force, managing the Joint Manpower Program and providing personnel planning, headquarters strength management, personnel policy, reserve component personnel support, and theater and contingency joint force manning.
Vision
The Manpower and Personnel directorate is comprised of dedicated professionals working together to provide the command human capital management, customer support and flexible solutions to effectively leverage limited manpower resources toward mission accomplishment.
