Using a scenario modeled after an existing U.N. mission in Mali, Western Accord is a command post exercise designed to strengthen multinational coordination during military operations.

Building on lessons learned during Operation United Assistance, an initiative is underway in West Africa to increase the capacity of governments to respond to emergencies.
