The first airstrike occurred in the vicinity of Gandarshe, Lower Shebelle Region, Somalia, on Feb. 6, 2019. U.S. Africa Command also conducted an airstrike in the vicinity of Bariire, Lower Shebelle Region, Somalia, on Feb. 7, 2019.
