It takes a village: military medical in East Africa coordinate response to COVID-19

Because of the size of the operating area, which includes 12 countries spanning 2.4 million square miles, the CJTF-HOA Surgeon Cell has a mission essential role in sustaining the health of U.S. armed forces, supporting ongoing operations and strengthening partner-nation alliances.
