There are only 30 days until the November 2nd general election. Act NOW to make sure that you will have an opportunity to make your vote count. Don't wait until it's too late! The Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP) has new online tools in place at www.FVAP.gov that can walk you through the process easily, quickly, and intuitively.

SEND IN YOUR BALLOT NOW!
Assuming you already requested your ballot, you should have received your it by now. If you have, vote it and send it in now!!

OVERSEAS? SEND YOUR BALLOT BACK BY EXPRESS MAIL FOR FREE!
On September 1st, the Military Postal Service Agency started sending ballots from overseas military post offices by Express Mail. Just go to your overseas military post office or unit postal clerk and use the Label 11 - DOD on your absentee ballot and mail it. You will get a tracking number that will let you track your ballot online at www.usps.com

HAVEN'T RECEIVED YOUR BALLOT YET? GET IT ONLINE!
But if you haven't received your State ballot yet, use FVAP's online ballot tools at www.FVAP.gov to get your ballot. From our website you can be linked directly to your States' online ballot delivery systems (if your State has one), or if not, to FVAP's online Federal Write-In Absentee Ballot (FWAB) to use as a back-up ballot. If you receive your State ballot after submitting the FWAB, still vote and return the State ballot as well since your election official will count the regular ballot if it arrives in time, but will count the FWAB only if your regular ballot doesn't get back in time.

HAVEN'T EVEN ASKED FOR YOUR BALLOT YET? STILL NOT TOO LATE!
If you've gotten behind and not requested your absentee ballot, it's not too late. Many election officials can accept your registration and absentee ballot application by email or fax, and will send you back your ballot by email, fax, or by posting online. Requesting your ballot is simple and fast at www.FVAP.gov where you can use our online registration and absentee ballot assistant to complete your Federal Postcard Application (FPCA) and have your forms completed, printed out, and ready to send back home in less than 10 minutes.

Help spread the word -- pass this on to spouses, voting age dependents, other military voters, and overseas voters.
