ENTEBEE, Uganda - More than 20 soldiers from the Uganda Peoples' Defence Force (UPDF) recently participated in training conducted by the U.S. Army 404th Civil Affairs Battalion, Airborne.
The training is designed to enhance the capability and capacity of the UPDF in their role to support the African Union Mission in Somalia.
The 404th Civil Affairs Battalion, Airborne, is based at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, and is currently deployed and assigned to the Combined Joint Task force Horn of Africa in Djibouti.
