U.S. Africa Command is hosting the African Partnership Forum (APF) June 9-11, 2015 in Stuttgart, Germany.

The APF, hosted by the command’s Strategic Outreach Directorate (J9), provides the command the opportunity to build mutually beneficial partnerships with commercial industry, non-governmental organizations, corporate social foundations, academia, professional associations, international organizations, and other private entities.

The intended outcome of the forum is to:

  • Further develop existing partnerships and develop new partners
  • Increase awareness, understanding and share best practices for working in Africa based on insights and experience of participants
  • Recognize the value of public and private organizations partnering and working together to achieve shared and mutually beneficial goals and objectives in Africa
  • Share information with participants on Public Private Partnership guidelines, processes, and principles

The first two days of the USAFRICOM Partnership Forum will take place at the Stage Palladium Theater in Stuttgart and will feature plenary sessions with briefings, panel discussions, and networking opportunities. On June 11th, vendors will have the opportunity to set up a demonstration of their products and services on Kelley Barracks to showcase their capabilities.
