STUTTGART, Germany -- Military lawyers from 17 African nations have joined U.S. counterparts to discuss a variety of legal topics during a forum hosted this week by U.S. Africa Command, at the U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart, Kelley Barracks.

“’The Rule of Law’ is our most important export,” stated U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Steven Hummer, AFRICOM Deputy to the Commander for Military Operations (DCMO), in his opening remarks.  “This forum provides an opportunity to learn and share information to further efforts in serving justice.”

Stay tuned for full story to be posted after the event, which concludes later this week.
