U.S. Marine Corps Forces Africa

Located in Stuttgart, Germany, U.S. Marine Forces Africa conducts operations, exercises, training, and security cooperation activities throughout the African continent.

Mission

The primary focus of Marine Forces Africa is engagement, through theater-security cooperation activities, to bring Marine Corps competencies to the table in support of the AFRICOM mission of building enduring partnerships, bolstering military capacity, and promoting regional stability with our African partners throughout the continent. Its staff is shared with U.S. Marine Corps Forces Europe.
